Terms of sale
1. Who we are
Cairn Card is a business based in Calgary, Alberta, operated by Baptiste Couchoux as a sole proprietorship. Address: 4055 Kovitz Ave NW, Calgary, AB T3B 6R2. Phone: (587) 287-2233. Email: baptistec@mycairncard.com.
2. What you buy
A Cairn Card founding membership: a personal digital card that gives you access to member perks at partner businesses in Calgary and the Rockies for 12 months from the day you activate it. Perks are provided by the partners and are subject to their own conditions. The list of partners and perks may change during the year.
3. Price and payment
The founding price is $50 CAD for 12 months if you pay before launch. From launch, the price is $80 CAD. Cairn Card is not registered for GST, so no tax is added: the price shown is the price you pay. Payment is by card on the secure checkout page of our payment provider, Stripe. Cairn Card never sees or stores your card details. You receive a receipt by email.
4. Launch and delivery
We plan to launch in January 2027, and no later than March 31, 2027. At launch, we email you a link to set up your digital card on your phone. Your 12 months start the day you activate your card.
5. Refunds
You can ask for a refund at any time before launch by writing to us. If we haven't launched by March 31, 2027, we refund everyone who paid, in full, within 15 days. Your membership is personal and cannot be transferred or shared. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act.
6. Free reservation
You can also reserve for free, without paying. A reservation is not a purchase and you are free not to buy. We email you a link to pay the founding price before launch. After launch, the price is $80. You can cancel a reservation at any time by replying to any of our emails or by writing to us.
7. Using your card
Show your card live on your phone at the partner's counter, or use a partner's promo code online where they offer one. Screenshots and old codes are refused. We may suspend a card that is shared or misused.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email members about any important change. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
